Sarah Cassani (b. 1980) is an artist and designer from southern Maine. Sarah holds a BFA in Illustration from Rhode Island School of Design and she has worked in the fields of graphic design and fine art for over 20 years.
Sarah’s oil paintings and watercolors are inspired by the intersection of home and garden. An avid gardener, Sarah carefully observes and tends to many plants which provide creative inspiration outside her door. With painterly realism, Sarah also incorporates antiques and heirlooms into her still life paintings. She juxtaposes these objects alongside cut flowers and considers our interconnectedness with nature and each other, over time and space.
Sarah Cassani has participated in numerous juried exhibitions throughout New England. Her paintings are part of private collections throughout the United States.

Sarah's studio is located in Eliot, Maine. She is also a resident artist at the Art Center in Dover, New Hampshire.
